Wendi Davenport (Dearsman), age 43, passed away surrounded by loved ones, the morning of December 8th at her mother’s home in New Port Richey, Florida. Wendi was born March 18, 1974 in Toledo, Ohio to Daniel Calmes and Dollie Donnelly (Dearsman). Wendi moved to Port Richey, Florida at the age of 5 with her mother Dollie and dad Herbert. She was 1 of 5 siblings. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go gators!) in 1996, Wendi relocated to Hermosa Beach, California. She worked for the AVP Volleyball tour as Vice President of Marketing and discovered a love for numbers. She began taking classes at UCLA to earn a degree in Accounting and started her own business called Working Numbers, Inc. Wendi married Scott Davenport in Palos Verdes, California April 8, 2005 and has two children, Luke age 7, and Devin age 3. Lexi, the family Boston Terrier was always treated as one of the kids. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, Wendi refused to allow cancer to define who she was. She showed great strength and was a true inspiration to all around her. She lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace sweet warrior! Wendi is survived by: Husband Scott Davenport, Son Luke Davenport, Daughter Devin Davenport, Mother Dollie Dearsman, Father Daniel Calmes, Brother Michael Dearsman, Brother Matthew Dearsman, Sister Kendra (Dearsman) Tezber, Sister Joeyn Dearsman; Three cousins raised as siblings, Rhonda (Donnelly) Leger, Bobbi Donnelly, Michael Donnelly; Nieces Brittanie Dearsman, Matalyn Dearsman, and Eve Davenport; Nephews Ridge Dearsman, Austin Dearsman, Coleson Davenport, and Beckham Tezber (also godson); Mother-in-law Mary Molitor, Father-in-law William Molitor, Brothers-in-law Larry Davenport, Kevin Davenport, and Ryan Tezber; Sisters-in-law AnnMarie Dearsman and Amber Davenport; 8 Aunts; 7 Uncles; 57 cousins Predeceased by: Dad Herb Dearsman; Grandfathers Ed Donnelly, John Calmes, Herb Dearsman; Grandmothers Iris Donnelly, Laurine Calmes, Dorothy Dearsman; Uncles Richard “Skip” Donnelly, Michael Calmes; Aunt Donna Mraz, Cousin Kristen Donnelly, and her beloved four-legged friend Jager There will be a viewing service Sunday, December 10th 2-5. Funeral service will be Monday, December 11th at 200. A gravesite service will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens at 400. Wendi dreamed of volunteering at St Jude’s Hospital. Anyone wishing to make a donation in her name is asked to make a donation to St Jude’s.
