Victoria Matos de Correa

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Victoria Matos de Correa, born on September 10, 1950 in Lima, Peru, and passed away on May 20, 2025 in Tampa, Florida. 

She is survived by her husband, Dario Correa; her son, Manuel Correa; and her daughter, Nora Correa; and her daughter-in-law, Carmen Elizabeth Correa; and her five grandchildren: Karen, Joel, Jennifer, Veronicka, and Tommy; and her five great grandchildren: Johelmi, Belicia, Rosalina, Alessia and Armias. Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Andrea Alicia Correa. 

Victoria spent many years taking care of children and was considered a mother to all. She left a legacy of love, dedication to family, and a passion for cooking. Victoria’s smile and kind spirit will live on eternally in our hearts. 

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church in Gainesville, VA. After the service, a reception will be held at The Marque in Gainesville, VA to share condolences and memories.
