Tom was born in Milwaukee on February 8, 1944, graduated from Bay View High School in 1962, then received his AA degree in Civil Engineering from MATC and worked for 42 years for Milwaukee County, working both in Downtown Milwaukee and at the Milwaukee County airport. His claim to fame was his work in assisting with design of the Hoan Bridge in Milwaukee. While in Milwaukee, Tom was a member of the South Milwaukee Eagles Club (who could forget the Duck Pin Bowling, dart and pool leagues?) and the Bayview Bicycle Club. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed cross country skiing and kayaking. He an avid camper throughout his life; with his family when they were young and then with friends when the kids left home. He returned to camping with his family once he and Phyllis moved to Florida in 2015. The two were a part of an active friend group, participating in several clubs in the Timber Pines community, attended shows, and played in a bocci ball league.
Tom will be deeply missed by all and we are grateful for every day that we had him in our lives.
