Known as the “Blessed and Highly Favored” lady, Thelma spread the love of God everywhere she went. She sowed the seeds of His Word and those seeds have borne fruit and doubtless will continue to do so well into the future.
God’s calling on her life was nursing and she faithfully “worked as unto the Lord” for many years in that profession. Her patients and their families loved her and she loved them.
Born in Beattyville, Kentucky to Ballard Hall and Lillie Mae Spencer Hall, she leaves behind five children: Patricia Ann (Steve), Edith Jean (Albert), Mark Joseph (Kathy), Helen Laverne (Kenny), and James Orley (Marianne). She was preceded in death by a baby son, Michael, and six siblings, Joe, J.A., Ballard Jr., Bobby Jack, Helen & Naomi. The only remaining of her siblings is Luster.
She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Thelma loved church so much, she attended two services every Sunday morning. One at Lakewood Family Church and would hurry to the second one at Hudson Church of God.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 13th, at Lakewood Family Church, 12637 Pony Lane in Hudson. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11:30 AM with funeral services to follow at 11:30 AM.
Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive shortly thereafter.
Because of her love for her Churches, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lakewood Family Church, 12637 Pony Lane, Hudson, FL 34669 and Hudson Church of God, 7631 New York Avenue, Hudson, FL 34667.
