Robert Peter Gleusner Jr.

Dec 14, 1975 — Jul 19, 2026

Port Richey, FL

Robert Peter Gleusner Jr., 50, of Port Richey, FL, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2026, at his home. A beloved son, brother, friend, and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Robert will be greatly missed.

Rob was born on December 14, 1975 in Huntington, Long Island, New York to Caroline Skog and Robert Peter Gleusner Sr. He spent the majority of his childhood living in Venice, FL where he graduated high school in 1994. Rob held many jobs in his life, from forklift operator at a marina, to working at a supermarket, to selling cars, to landscaping, but the thing that stuck was being a business owner/operator of his own carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning business. Although, anyone who ever talked to Rob about his occupation knew he didn’t particularly care for it, he was good at it and people appreciated him and his work. He was proud of his 954 reviews and his 4.6 star rating, but mostly he was proud to be able to provide for his family, which is the only thing that mattered to him.

Robert and Milena Tosolini welcomed their son, Robert Peter Gleusner III, in 1999. Known to many as Tino, he is now 27 and has two children, Oaklee Mae and Rayne Paislee.

In 2008, Robert met Cyndi, and they were married in 2009. Over their 17-year marriage, they had two children, Elisabeth Carol, 15, and Vincent John, 7. Nothing was more important in the world to Rob than his children. He was an exceptionally patient, caring, loving father and a dedicated, loyal husband.

Rob loved to fish, and he loved to cook. He loved his plants, he loved to see wildlife on the side of the road, and he loved to share the passions of those he cared. He loved to spend time at home and be with the people he loved most. His perfect day was smoking something on his grill, having a few beers and hanging out with his family by his pool. He was generous, and hard working and got along with everyone he met.

Robert is survived by his mother, Caroline Skog; stepfather, Leonard Wylie; brother, Kyle Skog; wife, Cyndi Gleusner; son, Tino Gleusner; daughter, Elisabeth Gleusner; and son, Vincent Gleusner. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Peter Gleusner Sr. He will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to a cause that resonates with you. Rob's family knows he would not want to dictate how you spend your money, but he would not want you to spend it on him. Please consider making a contribution to your favorite cause on Rob’s behalf, he would have appreciated that.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at Faupel Funeral Home, 7524 Ridge Road, Port Richey, FL 34668, on Friday, July 24, 2026, for visitation at 11:00 AM. A funeral service for Rob will follow at 12:00 PM.
