Randy Dusenberry, born on October 1, 1955, in South Amboy, NJ, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Holiday, FL. His journey through life was marked by a dedication to service, family, and the love of the game of golf.

Randy carved out a career as a probation officer, where he devoted his professional life to aiding others. After retiring, he enjoyed taking care of home duties in Holiday, golfing, and taking care of his beloved wife, Tammy, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage.

Education was important to Randy; he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College, where he was an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. His adaptability and commitment extended far beyond his career and academic pursuits. He proudly served as an officer in the US Army for 12 years, including being assigned a command while serving in Germany. He was also a member of the 82nd Airborne division, with 84 jumps.

An avid golfer, Randy cherished every opportunity to hit the links with friends and enjoyed making lasting memories on the golf course. He found great joy in spending time with his family, which meant the world to him.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; his sons, Randy K. Dusenberry, Christopher Schneider, both residing in Tennessee; his daughter, Jessica Dusenberry, and daughter, Katrina Naples, married to John Naples Jr., both living in Florida; and five cherished grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sisters, Sheri Neikens, Sandra Stangland, and Bobbie Dusenberry.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick A. Dusenberry and Barbara Bird, and his older brother, Frederick “Rick” Dusenberry.

A memorial service to honor Randy's life will be held on September 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL. The service will be a time for friends and family to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of a man who dedicated himself to serving others and cherishing his loved ones.
