Pedro Muriel Melendez

Born on May 13, 1940, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and called home by God on December 11, 2025, our beloved grandfather lived a life filled with family, love, and devotion.

As the son of Anselmo Muriel and Maria Melendez, he was one of eleven siblings who grew up with strong values of hard work, faith, and togetherness. He built a legacy with his devoted wile, Antonia Muriel, sharing 58 years of love and commitment.

A proud father of six and grandfather to seventeen, he found joy in his family, shaping generations with his strength wisdom, and warmth.

Above all he was man of faith. His humility and trust in the Lord guided him daily, as he served others and led his family with spiritual strength. His faith was evident in both his words and actions, setting a powerful example for all who knew him.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, quiet strength, and abiding faith. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the stories we share. He will be will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A visitation will be held for Pedro at Faupel Funeral Home, 7524 Ridge Rd, Port Richey, FL 34668 on Friday December 19th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM. 

The graveside service will be held at East Elfers Cemetery in New Port Richey, FL on December 20th, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
