Olin recently retired from a long career as a cable repairman for AT&T (previously BellSouth and before that Southern Bell).
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Kennedy, his five children - Korin (Matthew) Lane, Bridget (Dan) Rich, Lori (Tom) Montes, Alicia (Courtney) Kennedy, Olin Jr. (Sarah Rose) Kennedy, grandchildren - Sophia Rich and Stella Rich, siblings - Carolyn (Jim) Rhodes, Cathy (Harold) Seaman, Linda (Mark) Hartwig, Michael (Debbie) Brown, Larry (Hope) Brown, Laura (Jason) Bonander, and loving stepmother, Jean Kennedy.
Olin touched many lives with his calm demeanor and humor. He will be greatly missed.

Afterwards, according to Olin's wishes, the family will take his ashes to be scattered at sunset into the Gulf of Mexico.
