Margarita Roig Bonilla

Margarita Roig Bonilla passed away on September 5, 2026, in Largo, Florida, at the age of 71. She was born on September 18, 1954, in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Margarita will be remembered with love by all who knew her, and even her name, meaning daisy, reflects the warmth and brightness she brought to her family.

She shared 49 years of marriage with her husband, Anibal Ramirez De Jesus, a lasting bond that stood at the center of her life. She is also survived by her sons, Jose Ramirez Roig, Reinaldo Ramirez Roig, and Gamaliel Ramirez Roig. Jose and Lucy shared a family together, and Gamaliel and Katia Torres shared a family together, each carrying forward Margarita’s love through the generations.

Margarita also leaves behind her mother, Elizabeth Bonilla; her brothers, Felix Reyes, Luis Reyes, and Sammy Reyes; and her sisters, Zoraida Velazquez, Luz Madeline Rivera, and Epifania Fiero. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Yoseleini (Isaac) Aguilar, Jose (DeAndrea) Ramirez II, Marieliz Ramirez, Kaliel Ramirez, Jonatan Ortiz, and Harry Ortiz, and by her great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Amanda, Amelia, and Leilani, who is on the way.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Antonio Roig; her brothers, Edwin Reyes and David Reyes; and her sister, Olga Galarza.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Faupel Funeral Home, 7524 Ridge Rd, Port Richey, Florida 34668. A funeral service will follow there from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Margarita Roig Bonilla falleció el 5 de septiembre de 2026 en Largo, Florida, a la edad de 71 años. Nació el 18 de septiembre de 1954 en Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Será recordada con amor por su familia y por todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Su nombre significa margarita, una flor que evoca sencillez y belleza, y ese significado acompaña con ternura su memoria.

Margarita compartió 49 años de matrimonio con su amado esposo, Aníbal Ramírez De Jesús. En su familia deja un legado de amor en sus hijos, José Ramírez Roig, junto a Lucy, Reinaldo Ramírez Roig, y Gamaliel Ramírez Roig, junto a Katia Torres. También deja a su querida madre, Elizabeth Bonilla.

Su recuerdo vivirá en sus hermanos Félix Reyes, Luis Reyes y Sammy Reyes, y en sus hermanas Zoraida Velázquez, Luz Madeline Rivera y Epifania Fiero. Asimismo, será profundamente extrañada por sus nietos Yoseleini (Isaac) Aguilar, José (DeAndrea) Ramírez II, Marieliz Ramírez, Kaliel Ramírez, Jonatan Ortiz y Harry Ortiz, así como por sus bisnietos Kaleb, Amanda y Amelia, con la dulce espera de Leilani. Cada uno de ellos lleva consigo una parte de su amor, su presencia y su huella en la familia.

Fue precedida en la muerte por su padre, José Antonio Roig; por sus hermanos Edwin Reyes y David Reyes; y por su hermana Olga Galarza. Su memoria permanecerá unida al cariño de quienes la antecedieron y de quienes continúan honrando su vida.

La visitación se llevará a cabo el 9 de septiembre de 2026, de 10:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m., en Faupel Funeral Home, ubicado en 7524 Ridge Rd, Port Richey, FL 34668. El servicio fúnebre se celebrará ese mismo día, de 1:00 p.m. a 2:00 p.m., en el mismo lugar.
