Linda Elaine Wasilewski, age 80, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away on October 20, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1946, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Leonard Sr. and Lucille (Burger) Wasilewski.
Linda is survived by her three loving children, Steven, Christopher (Melissa), and Patrick (Lindsey) Hewell; seven grandchildren, Gabrielle, Bryce, Ryder, Lyla, Brooks, Stella, and Walker Hewell; and her great-grandson, Asher. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen (Patricia) Wasilewski, and was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Wasilewski Jr. She also leaves behind two nieces and two nephews.
Above all, Linda cherished her family, including the beloved dogs who were her companions throughout the years, and the many friends she held dear. She had a kind and generous soul, always willing to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or offer a little extra love to those around her. Her warmth and genuine care for others touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures and stayed true to the things that mattered most to her: faith, family, friends, helping others, laughter, gardening, watching sports, listening to music, relaxing in the comfort of her home, and, of course, trying her luck with scratch-off lottery tickets! These everyday joys reflected the person she was—someone who appreciated life’s little moments and found happiness in the people and things she loved.
Linda also took great pride in her professional life and treasured what she affectionately called her “work family.” The people she worked alongside each day were much more than colleagues; they were an important part of her life and an extension of her family. She shared that same sense of connection with her neighbors and friends, building relationships that brought her comfort, laughter, and lasting happiness.
Linda’s legacy is one of love, generosity, kindness, and an unwavering appreciation for the people who filled her life. The memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the lives she touched will remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Linda’s memory to Gulfside Hospice, which provided compassionate care and support. Donations may be made online at https://www.gulfside.org/donate.

May you rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord, with Christ our King guiding your way in Heaven. Until we meet again, may God watch over your soul. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
