Kenneth S. Pettus

July 31, 1974 — March 28, 2025

New Port Richey

Kenneth S Pettus passed away at home, on Friday morning March 28th, 2025; surrounded by his family.

He was born July 31 1974 in NY moving to NPR FL when he was 10. He enjoyed everything about Florida and immediately called it home.

His favorite things to do included: hunting, fishing, playing hockey, multiple forms of martial arts and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed astronomy, scuba diving, surfing, and grilling for friends and family. Being in the woods was his second home. He was also blessed with the talent to draw. He was able to draw anything that came to mind without effort. He was funny and personable and had a personality that made every and anyone around feel comfortable. He was an honest, loyal, and generous friend. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family, always providing unconditional love and support no matter the situation. He had many interesting jobs throughout his life and would tell stories about the times he had from laying pipe to landscaping to his last job as a medical transporter. Helping people when they needed it most really touched his heart.

He is loved and will be sorely missed and never forgotten, as he was taken way too soon.

Ken is survived by his mother Patricia, Sisters Lisa and Melanie, two children Brandon and Brooke Ann, and two grandchildren Peyton and Zayden (with a baby girl on the way this July) as well as his niece Ashley and nephew Ryan who he held near and dear to his heart.

Ken's wishes were to celebrate life not to have any type of memorial service. Celebrate him by raising a glass in a toast to him and his life.

In place of flowers, we ask that you donate to a wildlife or conservation charity in his honor or any type of foundation assisting those in need.
