Kathleen grew up in Centerville, IN, where she attended school through the 11th grade. While attending Centerville High School, Kathy competed in both cross country and track. She and her family moved to Ohio her Senior year of high school. She graduated in 1985 from Anna High School, Anna, OH. She was a proud graduate of Edison State Community College in Piqua, OH with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse who spent nearly 40 years caring for others.
Kathleen was very active in Faith Baptist Church. She loved her church and everyone she met. Kathy loved to pitch in where needed as well as attend many of the activities offered. This was a highlight for her and she thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Kathleen enjoyed traveling and turning everything into an adventure, she loved the beach and the beautiful sunsets. With her, even a trip to the grocery store was exciting! A few of her adventures included Parasailing, Dolphin cruising and swimming with Manatees. She also loved treasure hunting at flea markets, thrift stores, and garage sales. Kathleen never met a stranger and made friends wherever she went. She loved discovering new places and taking the road less traveled. Something would catch Kathy’s eye and she would have to go exploring. She loved children and always had an activity or craft she wanted to do with them. Her grandsons were her pride and joy. She loved hearing their stories and talking to them. She will be dearly missed.
