Joyce C Garry

Obituary of Joyce C Garry (1942-2022) Joyce Garry passed away in Clearwater, Fl on April 30, 2022. She was born and raised in Elmwood Park, IL just outside Chicago. Joyce and Richard were married on May 4th, 1963, and moved to Oklahoma City in 1970. Joyce had fond memories of her life in Oklahoma; living on an acreage with horses, her favorite Collies, and many other animals. In 1977, she moved with the family to Clearwater FL, which became home for the following decades. Joyce was primarily a homemaker raising 5 kids but spent several years running their small business of pool and patio stores. Besides traveling, and cruising to many wonderful places, Joyce was an amateur realtor, as she was always ready to move to a new home every couple years and became an expert in selling and buying homes. Joyce was a lifelong and very devout Catholic. The two most important things to Joyce were her faith and family, and we know that she as at peace now where she belongs. Survived by husband Richard; daughters Dawn, Lisa and Christy; son Jeff; as well as 5 grandchildren (Rebecca, Alex, Lindsey, Matthew and Amanda) and 4 great-grandchildren (Braylon, Eleanor, Easton, and Louise), and preceded in death by son John. In lieu of flowers, please have a mass offered in Joyce’s memory, and/or make a donation in her name to the American Heart Association ( heart.org ) . A funeral mass will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 11am on Tuesday May 10th at 8320 Old County Rd 54, New Port Richey, followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon gathering at the Tall Pines Clubhouse at 10930 Tall Pines Blvd, New Port Richey.
