James Price

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim Price, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather and brother. Jim was born on December 7th, 1940, in Frankfort, Indiana to Richard and Dorthy Price and he peacefully departed this world on October 29th, 2025.

Jim was a proud alumnus of Kirklin High School, graduating in 1958. In 1962 he married the love of his life Judith Michael, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.

As a dedicated Barber for over 50+ years, Jim owned his own shop, Hair It Is for two decades. He took pride in his craft and brought joy to countless customers with his skilled hands and warm demeanor.

A man of deep faith, Jim was a valued member of Hudson 1st United Methodist Church and a Past Master at Mystic Circle Lodge #685. He found great joy in traveling the world and spending leisurely days on the golf course, cherishing every moment with family and friends.

Known for his quick wit and outgoing personality, Jim was a kind and friendly soul who touched the lives of all who knew him. His presence brought light and laughter wherever he went.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Judy Price, and their children Jay Price (married to Ronilee Price) and Judd Price (married to Kim Price). He will be deeply missed by his adoring grandchildren: Kimberly Price (engaged to Mike Millett), Daniel Price (married to Nicole Price), Elisabeth Davis (married to Josh Davis), Steven Vaczi, Ryan Thompson and John-Robert Krawczyk. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Erin Millett, Austin Millett, Kinsley Price, Kennedy Price, and Levi Price.

Jim Price’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future.
