James L. Hereford

James L. Hereford, 53 of Spring Hill, Florida, embraced heaven December 7, 2017 after battling a long term illness. He was born December 22, 1963 in Akron, Ohio. He was a US Army Specialist Bridge Crew Member of the 1st Armored Division, COE 3rd Engineer Bn FORSCOM FC, serving until 1987 with many awards and declarations. He worked for the US Postal Service in Akron, Ohio then transferred to Port Richey, Florida until retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling. He cherished his family and we all will dearly miss him. He is survived by mother Sylvia, wife Mary, his son Kenneth of Indiana, daughter Cassandra and sons Joseph and John of Florida. He also had 5 grandchildren, 2 siblings Susan of Ohio and Lawrence of West Virginia. Preceded in death by his father Ray, grandparents and favorite Aunt Linda. Visiting hours on December 16, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be 7:00 PM.
