Holly Lynne Jones

Holly Lynne Jones, 67, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Holly’s journey began in Lancaster, PA, born to Roy and Ruth Whitcraft. A proud graduate of McCaskey High School and a dedicated LPN from Willow Street Vocational Technical School, Holly embraced a career in geriatric and pediatric special needs before finding her passion in oncology care. With over 30 years as a hospice nurse, she profoundly impacted the lives of those she cared for.

Holly and her life partner, Bradley Tharp, shared 26 cherished years together, building a loving home in Florida. She leaves behind Bradley, her son, Tyler Jones (Amanda), her grandson and the light of her life, Gabriel Jones, and Bradley’s son, Chris Tharp, who brought great joy to her life.

Holly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roy Whitcraft Jr. Survived by her beloved siblings, Ann Stauffer Dell (Tom) of Lancaster, PA, Barry Whitcraft (Pam) of Leland, IL, and Lonnie Whitcraft of Lancaster, PA. Her lifelong friend, Kim Mundorff of New Providence, PA, along with nieces, nephews, and many friends, mourn her passing and celebrate the bond they shared with her.

Holly found joy on the water, enjoying boating and fishing, and relished traveling, recently returning from a memorable trip to South Dakota. An enthusiast of live music, Holly’s admiration for the band Stormbringers brought her immense happiness.

Holly’s compassionate spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. 

A memorial service for Holly will be scheduled at a later date.
