Frank G.T. Scott, 53, of Tierra Pines Health Care Center, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, finally free from the pain that had challenged him for so many years.
Born on September 13, 1972, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Frank attended Salem State College and built a long career in the IT field, where he excelled at tackling computer challenges and fixing systems for many years. Frank’s biggest challenge was his diabetes. Despite constant medical struggles throughout his life, his spirit endured with remarkable resilience.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Scott and Gloria Gove; his grandparents, Dorothy Gove and Francis Barnard; and step-grandfather, Frank Gove. Now, he is pain-free and able to walk again alongside his beloved mother and grandparents.
Frank is survived by his sister, Mary Shaver and her husband, Edward Shaver; his oldest niece, Larissa Williams and her boyfriend, Brian; niece Ashly Healy and her husband, Pat, and their son, Frank's great-nephew Clayton Healy; nephew Jared Williams and his wife, Courtney Williams; his three half-brothers, Richard Rumble, Robert Rumble, and Kenneth Rumble; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family memorial service will be held for Frank along with his mother, Gloria.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in his memory to the Diabetes Foundation. He will be deeply missed.
