Don R. Crump of Port Richey, FL, passed away on Tuesday April 25th after a short sickness.
Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy Bleecker Crump, daughters Shelley Hardeman (Jack), Lesli Seymour (Mac), son Kenneth Cummings, grandchildren Mark Caldwell (Cal) Crump, Cassie Frazier, Nikki Rutledge (Stephen) , great-grandchildren Coby Crump, Jackson Crump, Bella Crump, Bryleigh Crump, and Felix Rutledge, plus sister Lila Yates and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceeded in death by son Mark Chandler Crump, father Herbert C. Crump, and mother Lucille Crump.
Don was born in September 1940 in Davidson County, Tennessee. He met Judy in high school. They married soon after graduation and remained happily married until his death. Don worked for Western Electric (then AT&T) in Nashville, TN, Montgomery, AL, and Largo, FL and retired to
Port Richey, FL in 2001.
Don was a man of few words but, when he spoke, people listened. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
