Dellphene Sarah Kershner

KERSHNER, Dellphene Sarah, 82 of Trinity, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.  Born to William J. Fox and Dellphene Phillips. She is survived by her husband Howard Lee Kershner, of Trinity, Florida, son Andrew Kershner & daughter-in-law Joy Kershner, son William Kershner, and sister, Irene Fecht, of Davis, California.

Dellphene and Howard met at the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts in Pennsylvania, where they both attended college.

After graduation she was employed at Merck Pharmaceuticals Marketing Department. She worked many summers at Coney Island doing art restoration on the boardwalk repainting the carousel horses, games, and other various features. Dellphene and Howard were married in the fall at Valley Forge in 1961 and happily married for 62 years. They moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1962, where they raised their two sons.

She was the co owner of Kershner Communications, Advertising and Promotional Company. She was an accomplished pianist. She volunteered her service at several churches in the Tampa Bay area. Dellphene loved to do her crossword puzzles on a daily basis, and loved long walks where she would become one with nature. She was blissful with family and nature surrounding her.

Dellphene was grandmother to five grandchildren and great grandmother to eight great grandchildren. She was lovingly known by her great grandchildren as Grandma the Great.

She and her husband retired from their business in 2018 and moved in 2019 to Trinity, Florida.
