After a life spent helping family and friends with anything and everything from building cabinets and painting to running errands. Daniel Sterbens, of New Port Richey, FL passed away on January 25.
The Brooklyn, NY native was a beloved husband to Diane (Dee) for 53 years. He also was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, friend, and avid fisherman.
The longtime St. James Catholic Church parishioner is survived by sons Dan (Jackie), Scott (Laurie), and Jason; grandchildren Tyler, Daniel, Cody, Kolby, Trevor, and Haley; brother Fred, sister Dianne; and Kooch, the loyal pup who was never far from his side whenever Dan was home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Jean, and his sister Barbara Roderka.
A visitation for Dan will be held at Faupel Funeral Home in New Port Richey from 3-5 on Tuesday, January 30. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Lung Association. And if you can't make it to the visitation, please consider going fishing -- Dan would certainly approve.
