Benjamin “Ben” Perkins Jr., 77, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away Sunday, June 29th, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born October 14, 1947, in Bristol, PA he was the son of the late Benjamin and Margaret Perkins.
He was a graduate of Bristol High School and was employed as an owner/operator of Bimbo Bakeries until his retirement.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was also a member of Saint James the Apostle RC Parish. Ben dedicated his life to his sons volunteering his time at MAA as a coach and president of the league. He spent much of his free time in his younger years and well into his senior years with a hat on his head, bat in his hands playing softball. He never missed watching his beloved Eagles, Phillies, and Bucs.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Margaret Perkins, brothers-in-law Ron Mason and Jimmy Vaughan.
He is survived by his wife Helen of 53 years, sons, Ben (Kara), Anthony, and Chris (Marisa). Grandchildren Evan, Emma, Sophia, Ben, Dylan, Tyler, and Hailee. Sisters Kathy, Peggy, and Sharon.
