Arlene Burke, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, with her beloved husband of 57 years, Edward Burke, by her side.
Born on July 27, 1952, in Copiague, Long Island, New York, Arlene lived a life defined by love, strength, faith, and devotion to her family. To those who knew her best, she was the strongest person they ever knew. Through every season of life, she met challenges with resilience, grace, and unwavering determination.
Arlene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose family was the center of her world. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved and creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and support. She especially treasured her grandchildren, Connor and Declan, and cherished every moment she spent with them.
She enjoyed crocheting, watching Days of Our Lives, and caring for the many family cats that brought her happiness over the years. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being there when she was needed most, Arlene touched the lives of those around her in countless ways.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Burke; her sons, Paul Burke and Patrick Burke; her grandchildren, Connor Burke and Declan Burke; and many extended family members and friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, strength, and love.
While her family mourns her loss, they take comfort in knowing that her faith sustained her throughout her life and brought her peace in her final days. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply and in the countless memories she leaves behind.
Visitation will be held at Faupel Funeral Home on June 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Port Richey, Florida, on June 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 12:30 PM.
