Adele Helen Page

Adele H. Page, age 101 and 11 months of Port Richey, FL, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023, at Marliere Hospice Care Center. She was born in Delaware, Ohio on October 4, 1921, to parents George and Hilda (Frank) Von Moegen. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, her three sisters and two brothers. Adele is survived by her two daughters, Barbara McGloin of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Virginia Johnson of Columbus, Ohio, and four granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. 

Adele fondly remembered growing up on their 23-acre farm and having a wonderful childhood living in Delaware County. She especially enjoyed her father’s beautiful rose garden. Adele graduated from Bellpoint High School in 1939, where she participated on the baseball and basketball teams because being active was important to her. After graduation, she attended business school, where she took shorthand.  She worked at Montgomery Ward as a personnel manager for five years.  

Adele married Robert Page in May 1944. Their hobbies were motorcycle riding and traveling extensively through the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico in their motor home. Bob and Adele also visited Hawaii and took a cruise to several islands. She loved to explore! 

Adele joined the Regency Residence Community in 2006, where she attended all the activities. BINGO was one of her favorites. She volunteered for everything including the Country Store and was an Ambassador for new residents. Adele took immense pride watering the flowers out front, tending to the library, and decorating for all holidays. She was a beloved member of Regency and a valuable contributor, making it a wonderful place to live.  

Adele lived a long and glorious life filled with joy, quick wit, adventure, and sassiness. She truly was a bright light and a cherished gift to the world. She will be deeply missed.
